Still great for first timers
Saw them at Astor place over 25-years ago before they were "big". And have seen them a few times over the last 25 years in different cities. Came back to Astor for our 25 wedding anniversary so we went back for nostalgia.
The good: Still a good show. Can't believe it's basically the exact same show with maybe a few tiny adjustments. Still funny. Still visually stunning. Still great music. GREAT for kids. GREAT for a first timer. FUN. We loved it all over again.
The nit-picky: it felt rushed. The timing on the actors was off, and rushed. It felt like they just wanted to get through it. Like there was a hard end time and they needed to get to dinner. Example: Hold for the jokes. I guess maybe this is what happens when you do it so many times. New people didn't see it. We did.
That's about it. I would still highly recommend the show.
